Meet our Founder

Kate Feller is a rising senior at Northridge High School and a dedicated student leader with a passion for service, academics, dance, and literacy advocacy. She is a member of National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society and has earned Director's List recognition through University of Alabama Early College. Kate currently serves as president of Northridge Miracle and was selected to participate in the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Seminar and the Alabama Legislative Congressional Page Program with Representative Cynthia Almond.

Kate currently holds the title of Miss Tuscaloosa Teen Volunteer and will represent West Alabama at the Miss Alabama Teen Volunteer Scholarship Program in July 2026. A skilled dancer since the age of two, she is a member of The Dance Centre Competition Company and Tuscaloosa Community Dancers.

Kate's love for reading began in elementary school, where teachers and administrators helped foster a lifelong appreciation for books through reading celebrations, book buddies, and classroom programs. Inspired by those experiences, she created Drive To Read, an initiative designed to encourage children across her community to discover the joy and excitement of reading.
